Dr. Mervin B Rimes

Attended theater with his wife and three sons, Martin (7), Lloyd (5) and Myron [Morgan] the baby.

Dr. Rimes took his entire family to a matinee at the Iroquois theater.  The largest funeral at Oak Woods was that of Dr. Rimes, his wife and his three children. They were buried together in one large grave.  Dr. M.B. Rimes was married to Bertha Luff who also died in the fire. She left behind a 2 1/2 year old daughter. Dr. Rimes was a Dentist. He was friends with Dr. Oakey and worked with him. They went with Dr. Oakey's two daughters and attended the showing of Mr. Bluebeard that fateful day. (Find a Grave)
