"Mrs. George MacKay [nee Estella Shufelt], 5029 Indiana avenue, the mother of Roland MacKay, was not feeling well Wednesday and did not attend the performance.  If she had been present the entire four generations of her branch of the Moore family, instead of three, might have perished."  (The Inter Ocean)
