Tragically burned to death in the terrible fire at the Iroquois Theater in Chicago, Illinois, Edyth died with her sister, Ella Freckleton and brother George. More than 2,000 people attended the funeral in the hall and more than 500 others stood in the street for hours waiting for the funeral cortege to pass on its way.
